DESCRIPTION

2.0 Litre Honda Civic Type R/Accord K20A / K24 PACE Dry Sump System with a Long Nose Oil Pump suitable for mounting on the Inlet Side of the engine. This Dry Sump Kit is suitable for Honda K20 & K24 engines on RWD or FWD applications.

For FWD applications the Pump mounted on Inlet Side is recommended unless you have plenty of clearance behind the engine on Exhaust Side for the drive shaft.

About PACE Dry Sump Kits
A ‘Dry Sump’ system does not allow engine oil to freely pool, and slosh around in the sump. Instead, oil is pumped (‘scavenged’) away from the sump as soon as it has finished its cycle, and collected (often via an oil cooler) in a separate oil reservoir where it is stored before a second pump forces the oil under pressure through the filter and back into the engine.

A dry sump pump system facilitates the cleaner and more efficient circulation of oil within an engine and helps it perform efficiently.

Dry sump systems offer a multitude of significant benefits to trackday enthusiast and serious racers alike, the main advantages being:

PACE CD2000 Oil Pump
Using CD rotors, gravity die cast in LM25TF aluminium with special internal oil porting to maximise oil flow through the pump. This is the modern version of the classic Slim Jim pump. Utilising the same CD rotors in a more compact unit.
